Analyzing a client’s pH level determines whether his or her biochemistry is too acidic or too alkaline for the body to function as it should. The number of hydrogen ions present in a given fluid determines the pH value. This measurement is vital to your clients’ health because many of the body's functions depend on a proper pH balance. When the body’s pH levels are not in balance, the body cannot function optimally. Such an imbalance affects, among other things, the body’s ability to absorb nutrients and generate sufficient enzymatic activity. As a result, it’s possible for your clients to consume even the most bioavailable nutrients and yet be unable to absorb or use them.
pH imbalance also creates an environment that favors the growth of bacteria and other unwanted organisms, and it can indicate unhealthy levels of environmental or industrial toxins in the body. Unhealthy pH levels, particularly excess acidity, have been associated with a variety of degenerative diseases. For example, when our bodies are too acidic, the cells receive less oxygen; cancer thrives in an acidic, oxygen-deficient environment.
I felt like I had tried everything, and I had! Then, with one simple test, I finally had answers. What a relief to know that this time I wouldn’t leave empty handed. I can’t wait to go back.-Jaime Lindsey, Office Manager
